Kevin James isn't usually known for his stellar role choices or even performances, but in Here Comes The Boom, he has proved that he's capable to provide the much needed depth to his characters, and that he's not just a clichéd performer.
HCTB centres around a school teacher, Scott Voss, who doesn't have much direction in his life, until the school decides to cut the music program, which is run by old Marty Streb(Henry Winkler), a friend who Voss made a mere hours prior to the program being pulled.

This real-life remake, which took two and a half years to complete, is a rush of memories and nostalgia. There isn't much to say that hasn't already been said, but the fact that Pixar okayed the remake is more than reason enough to watch this from start to finish.
From the subtle details like the movements of the figures down to the sync of the dialogue, this is a delight to watch, and the two guys who carried out this no doubt arduous task need some recognition- More than they're currently receiving.
