So it's getting closer to the release of The Princess and The Frog, (Nov. 25 Limited release NY & LA, Dec. 11 US, Feb. 5 2010 UK), I figured I'd share this featurette hosted by Anika Noni Rose, who voices 'Princess Tiana' in the film. This piece is a pretty insightful clip about the film and the soundtrack, and I have to say, it really felt great seeing this, it felt as though Disney have travelled back to their roots with the traditional animation and the song and dance. Love it.Watch this exclusive featurette to learn more about the music and why Princess Tiana's song will set her apart from past princesses.
Courtesy of IGN, here are some sweet pieces of Artwork of the upcoming Tekken movie. I'm surprised this has been kept pretty quiet for a while, considering it's supposedly meant to be released pretty soon.
Until then, check these images out.

So, I'm watching this last night, and it's the first time I've seen it, and I was watching, and watching, and I thought it was such a visually stunning piece of work. Granted, I haven't finished it completely, but just watching it, and thinking about the time it was released (1982), I believe it's one of the first films I've seen that contains CGI, primitive at that, but still CGI nonetheless.
Now, keep in mind now, I'm reviewing this from the perspective of someone who's never been exposed to effects of this nature, so I imagine it must be pretty effing impressive for it's time. Alot of the time though, I found myself wandering somewhere else into the frame, trying to find any flaws in this early rendition of CGI. Couldn't really find anything, maybe because the colours were too damn distracting. Damn neons. I also found myself trying to think how it would look in TODAY'S CGI. Lo and behold, as I think of it, it appears to me. Observe, below is a preview of TRON Legacy, set to be released Winter of 2010. It surpasses all of my expectations, and excites the crap out of me. It looks AMAZING.
"Tron Legacy" is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that's unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father's disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin's loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

Looks to be an exciting piece.

How much of a bitch would it be if fans of FlashForward never got to see 6 months into the future? April 29th, 2010: The day everybody saw in their visions. Well, have no fear, because ABC have picked up FlashForward for a full season, which will most likely run until next year. That was it. That's all I had.
