Brilliant 4-minute trailer for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)

Source: FirstShowing.net Synopsis: A journalist is aided in his search for a woman who'd been missing, or dead, for forty years, by a young female hacker, played in this one by Rooney Mara. Based on Stieg Larsson's Millennium series of novels.   This is shaping up to be a great film. Check out this extended trailer from David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo featuring the likes of Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, and Christopher Plummer. This releases December of this year.

Sweet new Artistic-looking poster for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)

Check out this cool artistic-looking new poster for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I'm quite looking forward to this, I'm a fan of Daniel Craig, but from the poster he just seems to James Bond-y. The Swedish version of the film of the same name seemed to have a little less cooler version of Craig.  Ahh. We'll see how this pans out, but something tells me David Fincher isn't going to disappoint. This hits the Big Screen later this year.

New Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011) images

I've now begun to read the book of the same name, but I have yet to see the original film also. I'm excited to see this, but I'm also hoping to finish the book and see the original before this one is released, this December(in the UK).

New Teaser! Daniel Radcliffe in The Woman in Black (2012)

It's refreshing to see little Harry in something other than those films, especially something like this. I would've liked to see a little more of Radcliffe's performance rather than him just standing and sitting, but it IS just a teaser. It's great that he's trying to steer away from the little boy wizard, completely moving away from the Family film genre.
The Woman in Black is based on a 1983 novel of the same name, and it lands in theatres February 2012.

Kazed Reviews: Cowboys and Aliens (2011)

I got a chance to watch this film at the EMPIRE BIG SCREEN event in London this past Weekend with fellow writer, Muni. Hmmz. Where to start with this baby. Initially, I thought the film was great. Now, after letting it sink in for a couple of days, I have mixed reactions. For the most part, C&A was an action-packed, visually stunning film. But beneath this façade, if you will, was really quite a hollow film. Don't get me wrong now, I enjoyed it enough to want to buy it on DVD/Blu-ray, but something just wasn't right here. Maybe it had something to do with the abs ent explanation as to why Daniel Craig had such amazing prowess, or that Olivia Wilde was relatively wooden(I'm talking about her performance, kids). Favreau hasn't disappointed in this, but one can't help thinking the story could have been better. The pacing was fine, it was the way in which the story itself was delivered. Cast members Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde worked well together, but the problem was that Olivia's part in the film was obvious from the outset, and I think this was due to her slightly monotonous performance(you'll understand once you watch it). Cowboys & Aliens contained all elements that a successful film should have: humour, action, sex appeal(?), cowboys, and aliens. Oh. I made a connection. Anyway, enough banter. Scores: Performances: 6/10 Plot: 6/10 Visuals: 8/10 Dialogue: 5/10 Overall: 6/10
