RED(2010) review
Synopsis: When his idyllic life is threatened by a high-tech assassin, former black-ops agent Frank Moses reassembles his old team in a last ditch effort to survive. RED seemed like a cheap version of The Losers at first glance, but then get a little over 30 minutes into the film and it is actually quite the opposite. The Winners. (Oooh...That was BAD) Anyway, the film wasn't exactly the most exciting film I've seen, considering it was a graphic novel adaptation, although nothing could be as bad as X-Men Origins: Wolverine, or The Fantastic Four, the ashcanned version. But hold on a second - I'm not saying this was BAD, I'm just saying it wasn't THAT good. Don't let that detract from seeing it though, because there were several segments within the film which made me chuckle, the reason for this was the awesomeness who was Mary Louis Parker. She made me laugh. She was funny. She was HIGHLARIOUS. Aside from that, there was little in this film which was impressive, other than the stylistic (or is it now becoming generic?) Comic-Book visuals, and that one awesomehellyeahbadass scene when John McClane walks out of the car while it's moving, THAT, was impressive. Not much to mention about RED, the performances were admirable, but felt somewhat forced, like they didn't even want to be there. I mean, fine, whatever, find another film to act in, I don't care. Screw you Morgan Freeman, you weren't even in this film that much anyway. Okay film, fun plot, good performances, MLP was funny. She was. 5.5/10 Kazed0
The Flash movie in the works!
Yesterday, we found out that Warner Bros. created DC Entertainment, and today, we found out that there would be a Flash movie in the works, according to IGN & SuperheroHype.com, Charles Roven, the producer of The Dark Knight says-"I was involved at one point with The Flash," said Roven. "And Warner Bros. came to me and said, 'The work that you've been doing hasn't yet resulted in something that any of us, including the filmmaking team, feel could be greenlit as a movie. We're trying to accomplish something that takes into account the entire, rich DC character world, and we'd like to pull it back. That doesn't mean that you aren't going to be a part of it. We just want to take a different kind of approach. Do you mind if we try that?' If we had something that was really working..."and then, we get this, from Dan Mazeau, the screenwriter of the film(courtesy of IGN)-

"...Flash fans have no cause for concern, and -- IMO -- lots to be excited about."That sounds promising. To be honest, I won't believe anything until I see some good, solid proof that this will happen. We've seen too many projects like this be planned then scrapped. We'll keep you updated. Kazed

Guy Ritchie signed on to Direct Lobo
This news excites me. very much so. Some of you may remember Lobo in Superman: The Animated Series, or in the episode of Justice League where he came to earth in the hopes of joining them. I love this guy, and is definitely one of my favourite Anti-Hero's. The following comes from SuperheroHype.com-Warner Bros. Pictures has set Guy Ritchie to direct Lobo, a live action adaptation of the DC Comics title about an alien interstellar bounty hunter, reports Variety. Don Payne wrote the most recent script draft, and Joel Silver, Akiva Goldsman and Andrew Rona will produce. The film is a co-production between Silver Pictures and Weed Road. In the film, says the trade, Lobo will be a seven-foot tall, blue(gray)-skinned, indestructible and heavily muscled anti-hero who drives a pimped out motorcycle, and lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc. Lobo teams with a small town teenaged girl to stop the creatures. Production on Lobo begins early next year. The studio is aiming for a PG-13 rating.Sounds freakin awesome. Kazed
