Kazed Blogs: Harry Potter and The City of Movieville PART TWO

This past February, I did a blog post on the first five Harry Potter films. Now that I've seen the whole series(excluding The Deathly Hallows Part 2, of course), my opinion is definitely a little more different than it was a year ago. It was the last film that completely changed my opinion on the franchise, because it was truly an amazing spectacle. You can check out the video review on YouTube. Anyway, after watching them all, it's the last one that impressed me the most. I mentioned this in the last blog, but the maturity levels in the entire cast just soared as the films went on, especially the final installment, was just beyond all of my expectations. In comparison to the first film, the last film was just amazing on so many levels, the visuals, the performances, the dialogue, exceeded the first film by a billion miles(or kilometres, whatever). The Harry Potter series is definitely a refreshing change from those preceding it, and it's continuity factor was a large part of it's greatness for me.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows pt 2 (2011) film season + Posters

So this is pretty cool. WB are re-releasing (in the UK) all of the Harry Potter films leading up to the release of the final installment, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows pt. 2. Here's the schedule for the films: Friday 8th July “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” Saturday 9th July “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” Sunday 10th July “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” Monday 11th July “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” Tuesday 12th July “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” Wednesday 13th July “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” Thursday 14th July “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1” Friday 15th July “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2” So, not exactly sure which theatres these will be screening in, but it's still a really cool idea(to make more effing money). Check out this montage-ish trailer with the generic epic music in the background. I tell you something, I, for one am excited for some of these guys to get into some more mature films, they've really matured, performance-wise. Also, this looks pretty badass too. New EPIC trailer for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows pt. 2 (

Check it, I've mentioned a few times I'm not the biggest Harry Potter fan there is, but I've admired the films for what they are. Not a big fan of them all, but I could watch them again. In my opinion, I thought that The Deathly Hallows part 1 was (so far) the best in the franchise. I may be wrong here.
