Empire Big Screen Event: Saturday -Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 write up *SPOILERS*

This was an amazing event. Truly amazing. We got to see exclusive footage from Spider-Man, and man... wow... wow.  Unfortunately, we don't have any footage to show you, but something tells me the wonders of technology will help us out. Until then, I can at least describe what I saw. I'm gonna separate all the footage I saw in different posts, just so it's more readable starting with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. This was introduced to us by the lovely MyAnna Buring, who plays 'Tanya' in the film, who leads the 'Denali Coven' in Alaska. Anyway the footage we were shown were the Honeymoon scenes as well as a scene with something going on with the Werewolves. Then kind of a trailer too. The Honeymoon sequence involved Edward carrying Bella into a honeymoon suite, and they exchange some pretty friendly banter, and it's pretty clear what Edward wants to do, that skeevy little perve. Good ol' innocent Bella just wants to chill out and not do the deed. So Edward wants to go for a swim, trying to find a way for Bella to get out of her clothes by any means possible. GOD what a perve. Bella prepares herself by brushing her teeth, shaving her legs, and other womanly stuff. So eventually, Bella is down to just a towel, and meets Edward on the beachside outside their suite. Naked, of course. That's where that clip ended. The other one, the Werewolf scene, was pretty much Jacob saying some stuff to the Cullens, then meeting up with some of his pack to do something. I wasn't paying much attention at this point because some guy's camera got confiscated when he was taking pictures LOL. Then we were shown a trailer(ish) with a bunch of random clips from the film. The clip ended with

MyAnna had said that the first part was 'more romantic' with the second being 'more action'. Breaking Dawn releases November of this year.

Final concept art poster for The Avengers (2012) - Hulk & Final line-up!

For those of you who don't know, Edward Norton, who played the most recent Hulk, will NOT be in the upcoming Avengers film. Instead, he's been recast and replaced by Mark Ruffalo, or Muffalo, whichever. I, personally think Marvel were wrong to replace Norton, despite what had happened. You can read about the incident HERE. Enough negativity, BEHOLD, Hulk, and all six(seven?) of The Avengers! Assemble! Sweet. Can't wait for the teaser. And FYI for those UK folk who are watching Captain America on the 29th, there's a teaser-type dealie at the end of the film as it's post-credit sequence. To see the other Avengers posters, click HERE and HERE What do you guys think? Do you think Mark Ruffalo is the right fit for Bruce Banner? Let us know in the comments below! Kazed.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010) review

Synopsis: As a string of mysterious killings grips Seattle, Bella, whose high school graduation is fast approaching, is forced to choose between her love for vampire Edward and her friendship with werewolf Jacob. Having seen the first two from the Saga, so far, this would be my breakdown of the three- Twilight: easily the best of the bunch so far. New Moon: Utter disappointment, from a Film standpoint, anyway. Eclipse: a slight step up from New Moon, very impressed with many aspects, including the acting, surprisingly. What a segway to begin the review. I'll also state again that this review will be written from a Film standpoint, so none of you hardcore Twi-Hards be hatin' on me. So Eclipse. Although a little slow at the beginning, it picked up a little when it delivered some intense fight scenes between some of the scenes. I was impressed, but I wasn't too thrilled about the CGI in the film. It just didn't work, the scene where the 'transfomed' Jacob is comforting Bella looked pretty effing stupid. There were some funny pieces of dialogue in Eclipse, which, quite surprisingly made me laugh. Kudos to the screenwriters, here. I'll be honest, I did enjoy this installment moreso than New Moon, but still not as good as the oh-so wonderful first film. Lovely film, there were some really bad, stupid moments which made me want to murder everyone in the theatre. 5.5/10 Kazed.
