New red band trailer for Kevin Smith's Red State (Mature audiences only)

I've been following this for some time now, and being a huge fan of Kevin Smith's, I'm a fan of anything he does. This film is completely different to anything he's done in the past, and it shows. It looks like it could top his past films(that's saying a lot, for me), and with the great cast this film has, it looks like it could garner a good amount of attention. Only problem, however, is that this film will only get a limited release, so only a select few theatres will get to see this baby... There's always thepiratebay*... I'm a huge fan of the show. I'd started watching a little way into the series, and I'm glad I did, because it is truly one of the most interesting shows on television. Now, hot off a badass Season 5, comes the trailer for Season 6. Behold, the trailer: I have faith in this(LOL). Kazed

New Red Band trailer for Horrible Bosses (2011) - Mature Audiences ONLY

Check this out, a last minute red-band trailer for Horrible Bosses, with a pretty amazing cast - Jason Sudekis, Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, and Kevin Spacey. WARNING: This trailer is only intended for mature audiences. Video: 'Horrible Bosses' Trailer (Mature Audiences) Jennifer Aniston doesn't have the best luck when it comes to films. I hope for her sake this one pans out for her. As an actress, I think she has a lot of talent, she just doesn't take on the right roles. I'm glad she's moving away from Romantic Comedies, this one looks to be a good one. Kazed.

Kazed video reviews: X-Men: First Class (2011)

Kazed video reviews: X-Men: First Class (2011)

First off, I'd like to apologise for the lack of activity on Movieville.org the past week or so, there's been a lot of problems off set! Going into watch X: First Class, I had relatively no expectations, but knowing that Matthew Vaughn (Stardust, Kick-Ass) had directed it was enough for me to want to watch. James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender undeniably had the best chemistry in the film, and casting them for Charles Xavier/Professor X and Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto, respectively was a stroke of genius. I definitely thought this was one of the best Marvel adaptations to date, and definitely tops the past X-Men films, ESPECIALLY that atrocity Wolverine, probably the worst film in the franchise. Although, strictly speaking, the film is actually supposed to be both a reboot AND a prequel to the original franchise, so I suppose this technically isn't a part of the franchise... or is it? Performance-wise it was quite strong, apart from the wooden acting from January Jones, playing the hotness that is Emma Frost, and Jennifer Lawrence playing Mystique. Slightly disappointed with Lawrence's performance, seeing as Mystique was quite a prominent character in the film. X: First Class was an outstanding film with a few minor flaws, but other than that, it was a great film to start the 'Summer of Blockbusters'. Oh, by the way, don't make the mistake of waiting after the credits for a special bonus, it won't come. I give this, a 8.5/10. Kazed.

He's Just Not That Into You review

Synopsis:
Spoiler Inside SelectShow
I was insanely hesitant to watch this film, as it never occurred to me that romantic comedies can also be full of complexities and finely woven stories which intertwine with each other. He's Just Not That Into You was a film that was quite different to those rom-coms I've seen in the past. It wasn't just a simple guy-falls-in-love-with-girl-encounter-a-problem-then-get-back-together-story, it was much more than that. Considering the film was adapted from a self-help book of the same name, it made it even more interesting to see how such a book could be made into a film. So Gigi(Ginnifer Goodwin) is the girl who needs the help, funnily enough, and the events that unfold were ever so cringe-worthy, not because they were badly acted out(because they weren't), but because the things that she was doing were ever so hard to watch. It was precisely the scenes with Goodwin in I enjoyed the most because of her ability to portray such an awkward character. Justin Long playing Gigi's friend and confidant was a role which he fit in, up until a certain point I thought he was gay, reminiscent of Zack and Miri, but I was proved wrong later on. There were times within HJNTIY which were definitely clichéd and redundant, there were even instances where I said "I KNEW that would happen!", but no matter how many of these moments were in the film, there was always a counter-balance to these clichés, which eventually outweighed these negative factors. He's Just Not That Into You was a film that was, to some extent, a 'traditional' rom-com simply because of the predictability that seems to be present in a vast amount of romantic comedies these days, but nicely back-pedals due to some unique storytelling. Good film, interesting story with several sub-plots and twists, He's Just Not That Into You delivers an unexpected array of goodness in the form of a contemporary romantic comedy with a difference. 8/10 Kazed
