Check this out: New Tron:Uprising trailer

This is somewhat interesting, although not too sure how far this can go. I love the idea of mixing 2D and 3D animation together, it's so Johnny Quest. I have a feeling, though that the trailer is making the show seem too awesome than it actually is. Much like Johnny Quest, which I only watched for the awesome 3D parts. No I kid, but seriously, it could do some good if it has a decent mix of both 3D an 2D animation. That, and a decent plot to the whole thing. On top of all this, it has an amazing voice cast, including Elijah Wood, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and Mandy Moore, to name a few. Tron: Uprising debuts toward the end of the year. Big thanks to SlashFilm for the trailer. Kazed.

Kazed Reviews: Tron: Legacy (2010)

Synopsis: The son of a virtual world designer goes looking for his father and ends up inside the digital world that his father designed. He meets his father's creation turned bad and a unique ally who was born inside the digital domain of The Grid. What a film. So it wasn't that strong story-wise, but visually, hot damn it was amazing. I suppose, in many ways, it could be compared to Avatar, in the sense that Avatar was all pretty and no story. You sort of get lost within this vast world that's been created (The Grid), so you tend not to notice the shitty story that's going on. Okay, okay, that's a little harsh, it's not shitty, it just lacked depth, there wasn't enough going on, it was like this one thing happening. My mind needed more. It demanded more. It demanded Inception. Inception of a freakin better story. Again, it wasn't that bad, but what made it worse was the ending. Seriously, the ending was a mega wtf moment. In a way, it was good, because it didn't leave much for a follow up to this film. What was commendable though, was the score to this film. Not at all a fan of Daft Punk, but the music was laced incredibly well with the film, and mixed with the intense action scenes within 'The Grid' was certainly an interesting combination. So: "Is the film good?" Yeah, it's a good watch if you're looking for badass music and amazing action scenes within an incredible 3Dimensional universe. Lacks a little depth in the plot department, but I don't know why the ending was how it was. It made sense why it was there, but it shouldn't have been the ending. My two cents. 6.5/10 from me. Kazed
