Muni on TV: Shows of 2011
Firstly I am going to start of with shows that have aired or are airing at the moment and then go on to talk about new shows starting this month. I will blog every month, with reviews of shows I’ve been watching and new shows airing that month on TV. TV shows that have already aired, that are worth watching: The increasingly poor decisions of Todd Margaret – Season 1 – More4 (4OD) The walking Dead – season 1 –AMC – FX network UK Boardwalk Empire – Season 1 – HBO – Sky UK Right so those were my picks of shows that have already aired, and which I believe will be a cult hit here in the UK. If you haven’t had a chance to watch either of them I absolutely recommend you do. Now I am going to talk about brand new shows airing in the UK, and whether I believe they will be a success or not, and weather they are worth watching. Episodes – Series 1 – BBC 2 Tool academy – Series 1 – E4 Sun Sex and Suspicious Parents – Series 1 – BBC 3 The next two shows are shows that have not aired yet, and will be airing this coming this week. I am going to write about them, because I think they will be a definite watch, and will be a cult success. Also I won’t be able to rate the shows, as I have not watched them yet. 10 O’clock Live – series 1 – Channel 4 Fast and Loose – Series 1 – BBC 2 Finally I will be reviewing new seasons of TV shows that have been around on TV, and give my input on weather the show still have the charisma and charm it had from its first series. The shows that are airing I will rate, and the ones that haven’t I will just write about. Skins – Series 5 – E4 Not Going Out – Series 4 – BBC 2 Take Me Out – Series 2 – ITV 1 Jersey Shore – Season 3 – MTV0
Cop Out (2010) review
Synopsis: A comedy about a veteran NYPD cop whose rare baseball card is stolen. Since it's his only hope to pay for his daughter's upcoming wedding, he recruits his partner to track down the thief, a memorabilia-obsessed gangster.
Being the first film Kevin Smith has Directed but hasn't actually written, but was equally awesome as his past Directorial feats.
Having gone through some problems with the original name "A Couple of Dicks", Kevin Smith once again had trouble with the freakin' MPAA because the name of his film 'offended' people.
Anyways, the film.
Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan were both funny as hell, and the characters they portrayed suited them so well, Willis playing the hard-ass cop and Morgan playing the sidekick who seems to mess things up but then making them better by his fluke-ish approach to cop work.
There were some pretty cool action moments in the film, and this was all balanced out by an acceptable story, nothing to write home about, but reminded me more of a Miami Vice episode.
Funny, action filled film with some pretty cool moments which made this film a keeper for me.
6/10
