Holy cheeseballs...THE AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN (2012) High Quality teaser/trailer

So I may be a few hours late, but better late than never...this looks amazing. No pun intended. No no, pun intended. I don't even know where to begin with this, Andrew Garfield may have been the best choice for this, but I'm still wondering exactly why they felt the need to reboot it. I'm fully behind it, but I'm still questioning it. After seeing this though, MAN OH MAN. This is pure geek GOLD. What're your thoughts on this? Was it necessary? What do you think of the new cast? New images for The Hobbit (2012)

So here they are people, the dwarves of Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' based on Tolkien's prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The characters shown from (left to right)           First Picture Aidan Turner as Kili, Dean O'Gorman as Fili, John Callen as Oin and Peter Hambleton as Gloin. Second Picture Jed Brophy as Nori, Adam Brown as Ori and Mark Hadlow as Dori. Third Picture Stephen Hunter as Bombur, James Nesbitt as Bofur and William Kircher as Bifur.   The film is already creating a buzz after its troubled start with the departure of intended director Guillermo del Toro, which forced Jackson back into the drivers seat. The film is slated for a Christmas release, December 14th 2012, so your Coca Cola advert this year will be accompanied by The Hobbit's trailers, its going to be an awesome season!

Holy crap! First shot of Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man

WOW. Major geekfest, thanks to a friend on Facebook for bringing this to my attention, and Superherohype, we can now see the first shot of Andrew Garfield (Social Network, Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus) and it's freaking amazing. However, it's so weird. They seem to have reinvented the suit, to some extent, and I don't like it. It's odd. BUT, the scratches on his left cheek, could possibly indicate it coming from The Lizard, which would be pretty interesting. Rhys Ifans has been casted as Dr Connors/The Lizard, so let's see what happens with that. Looks pretty sweet though, nonetheless. Kazed
