The first was a revolutionary film which had set the bar for Horror films of now. To have attained so much success on such a small budget was something that wasn't new, but when the budget is as low as it was, and having become both a critical and financial success, of course Paramount had to follow it up with Paranormal Activity 2. This, wasn't as good or as successful as it's predecessor. Well, only by a few thousand dollars. Or something.
The third instalment looks to be a relatively intriguing concept; telling the story of how the demon came to be. With the guys behind the docu-weirdoawkwarddrama Catfish on board for this, it should be pretty cool.
